Short bio: Lukas Linhart received his MSc in Technical Physics from TU Wien in December 2016. During his Master's thesis he focused on the accurate description of defects in 2D systems

Summary of the PhD project: Within my PhD project, I will study single photon emitters in 2D semiconductors, in close collaboration with the group of T. Mueller.

Thoughts on TU-D: The TU-D retreats provide valuable discussions both with other students and with the invited speakers.
