Martin Nastran
Graphene-TiO2 coatings for concurrent photocatalytic self-decontamination and electromagnetic shielding (Supervisor: D. Eder)
Short bio: Martin Nastran Martin Nastran holds a Bachelor and Master degree in Technical Chemistry from TU Wien. His Master project explored single-crystal-diffractometry of novel solid-state compounds.
Summary of the PhD project: Within his FFG-funded PhD project "DekoSchirm", Martin works in wet-chemistry synthesis of graphene metal-oxide hybrid coatings with high electrical conductivity and photocatalytic activity, that can provide concurrent electromagnetic interference shielding and photocatalytic degradation of harmful substances.
