Simulation of Electronic Transport in Graphene Systems (Supervisor: F. Libisch)

Short bio: Thomas Fabian received his BSc and MSc in Technical Physics from TU Wien in October 2014 and June 2016, respectively. During his Master’s thesis he focused on the interaction of phonons with electrons in transport through graphene.

Summary of the PhD project:
Within my PhD project, we focus on the development of efficient Greens' function formalisms towards simulating quantum transport through large-scale graphene nanodevices, in close collaboration withTEXTPROJECTnbsp; experimentalists in TU-D and abroad (RWTH Aachen, ETH ZTEXTPROJECTuuml;rich).

Thoughts on TU-D: A joint program like TU-D provides a great athmosphere to learn about different projects, and discuss interdisciplinary problems.
